San Jose police arrest suspect in preschool vandalism

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose police have arrested a suspect involved in a burglary and vandalism at Tomorrow Montessori preschool.

The suspect, identified as Leticia Tavares Monila, reportedly forced entry into the school by breaking a window. Police say she then vandalized the property and took items.

The estimated damage to the school is approximately $10,000. The school was forced to shut down for repairs, which affected over 115 students and community members.
