The fallen limbs crushed several cars on Crossover Dr. blocking northbound lanes.
The San Francisco Fire Department initially said the large tree damaged four cars, but have updated its number to five.
It's known to be a busy road that connects 19th Ave. and Park Presidio on the west-side of the city.
Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Firefighters have chainsaws out trying to break apart this tree.
SFFD says as of 9:54 p.m., 19th Avenue is open in both directions. Arborists will remain on the side of the road to continue working to clear the debris.
