Two of those people were standing at the bank's outside ATM machine.
The son of one of the three persons forced into the bank at gunpoint said his father is OK. His father told him that he did not think the suspects got into the bank's vault area. He said that the bank alarm was triggered.
One of the bank customers appealed to the suspects not to hurt them.
"I have a family," he said. One of the four suspects responded, "I have a family, too."
With so many streets blocked off, the police investigation is creating a challenge for office workers in the area, along with residents.

One resident said she banks at the Wells Fargo branch. She said she's shocked to hear about the incident.
"Nothing like this happens in Pleasanton," she said. She moved to Pleasanton in 1972.
Pleasanton Police released a description of the suspect vehicle as a brown Honda CRV with license plate number 5USY995, last seen on Muirwood Drive.
Police said the suspects are armed and dangerous and that the public should avoid the area.
