The fire prompted police to issue and evacuation for homes near Elmwood and Maple Streets as multiple fire agencies responded to the scene.
Some animals died when the fire reached the Suisun Wildlife Center but firefighters and workers cut open cages to free others.
"It looks like some of the foxes and some of the coyotes were able to escape. We're still actively trying to get a count on the amount of animals.," said Suisun City Fire Department Chief Justin Vincent.
No people were hurt.
