ANTIOCH, Calif. -- Police are seeking suspects in connection with a shooting that killed one person and wounded two others Saturday night in Antioch.
Around 8:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Sycamore Drive for a report of a shooting, according to police.
When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old man from Pittsburg unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time late, police said.
Officers also found two additional victims with gunshot wounds, an 18-year-old Antioch man and a 24-year-old Pittsburg man. The two were taken to a hospital for treatment and have since been released, according to police.
After an initial investigation, officers determined the three victims were outside of an apartment smoking, when unknown suspects approached them, police said.
The suspects began shooting at the victims, striking all three of them. The suspects then fled the area, according to police.
