Apple announces date of next product launch

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The date is now apparently set for Apple's next product launch.

BuzzFeed is reporting that the company will show off its new products on September 9, including some new iPhones.

The report says the new phones will likely be physically identical to last year's iPhone 6, but with some radical hardware changes, possibly the force touch technology included on the Apple Watch,

Apple will also expect to see some new iPads and the long-awaited new Apple TV.
