The California Highway Patrol lifted a Sig-alert in Santa Rosa just before 9 a.m. today that was issued after a big-rig lost the wheels section of its trailer during a collision on southbound U.S. Highway 101.

The incident involving other vehicles just north of Corby Avenue was reported at 8:11 a.m. The Sig-alert was issued at 8:28 a.m. and canceled at 8:57 a.m.

The axles in the roadway were blocking both lanes of the highway but northbound traffic was moving, according to the CHP. No injuries have been reported.
