Crews clean mess from broken water main

STUDIO CITY, CA The water main break happened at Cahuenga Boulevard and Broadlawn Drive. Water raged down the street for hours and even buckled a sidewalk.

Crews pinched off the pipe, stopping the flow of water, and broke the ground to fix the pipe. LADWP workers secured the scene where the sidewalk had actually buckled up.

It's expected to take crews all day to fix the problem. One southbound lane remains closed Wednesday.
