Loma Prieta Elementary School and C.T. English Middle School were both ordered closed on Thursday just hours after the fire broke out by fire officials. The middle school served as an early evacuation site for area residents displaced by the blaze.
District spokeswoman Julie Bourque said both schools would reopen Wednesday morning. Because students have missed three days of classes, discussions about the fire and its impact will be done at the classroom level.
"Since we've missed three days there's not going to be an assembly but I'm sure they will be talking about it," Bourque said.
Currently 160 students attend C.T. English Middle School and 247 students attend Loma Prieta Elementary School, according to Bourque.
