The assault occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. The 19-year-old victim encountered the unidentified suspect at a convenience store near Miller Park, located at 7801 Carmel St. The pair then walked into the park and the victim was assaulted in the bathroom, according to police Sgt. Jim Gillio.
The investigation into the assault is "very active," Gillio said in a statement. No further details about the incident were immediately available.
