The San Francisco Police Department and the California Highway Patrol will deploy significant visual police presence to help curtail precursors to violence in the city's Bayview District this evening. Operation Impact is a collaborative effort that has proven to be effective in the past, according to the Police Department. Law enforcement will try to curb reckless driving, driving under the influence, weapons possession, loitering and narcotics use and sales. On Sunday evening, they will focus on the city's Park District.
