Barnes & Noble recalls children's jewelry

OAKLAND, CA

The Center for Environmental Health in Oakland made the discovery after testing charms made by High IntenCity of Fair Lawn, New Jersey.

Included in the recall are the following Disney-licensed charm products: Disney Fairies, High School Musical and Hannah Montana.

The Disney charms were found to be three to eight times above the legal limit of 600 parts per million.

The president of High IntenCity tells us the company's own testing by three major independent laboratories found its products to be in compliance with the law. Richard Levy called the Center for Environmental Health "extremely questionable" for not discussing its results with High IntenCity in advance.
