Several suspects in black, hooded sweatshirts fired a shot in a Walgreens drug store near San Pablo Sunday night and stole money from all of the registers, a sheriff's sergeant said. No one was injured, Contra Costa County Sheriff's Sgt. William Klein said. The suspects entered the store at 15650 San Pablo Ave. in unincorporated Contra Costa County around 11:30 p.m., and made people get down on the ground, Klein said. He said they took an undisclosed amount of money and left. He said witnesses, especially ones who may have been standing outside at the time, are asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (925) 646-2441.
