The National Rifle Association filed a lawsuit Friday to end the city's /*gun ban*/ placed on anyone who lives in public housing.
The suit followed a historic U.S. Supreme Court ruling that overturned a Washington D.C. ban for violating the Constitution.
San Francisco's City Attorney Dennis Herrera claimed the /*NRA's*/ latest lawsuit is frivolous on Monday.
"Their factually slipshod complaint makes plain that this case is a publicity stunt and a frivolous waste of judicial time," Herrera said.
Herrera vowed to seek sanctions against the NRA.
