Halibut with corn and avocado salsa

Quick and easy halibut with a delicious corn, tomato and avocado salsa. Executive Chef Gerardo Wence and owner Tony Dudum of 1515 Restaurant in Walnut Creek shares this delicious recipe.

Halibut with corn, tomato, avocado salsa
(Serving size 1)

1 piece 7oz Halibut Filet:

Rub Halibut lightly with extra virgin olive oil, then Charbroil Halibut for 1 minute on each side, bake in oven for 8-10 minutes at 375 (depending on oven strength)


  • 2 cups diced vine tomato
  • 2 each large yellow corns, cooked then shave off corn
  • 2 cups diced avocado
  • 6 tablespoons diced red onions
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
  • 4 tablespoons fresh chopped cilantro
  • 4 tablespoons fresh chopped basil
  • 2 tablespoons Kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh ground white pepper
  • Mix all ingredients into bowl and then top Halibut with salsa
  • Garnish with diced red bell pepper around plate and lime wedge and cilantro leaf on top of salsa.
