Man with knife prompts standoff in SF

A man who was reportedly carrying a knife and prompted a standoff in San Francisco this morning was arrested after three hours, according to the Police Department.

Police, a SWAT team and Canine Unit were all involved in the negotiations that started around 12:45 a.m. at 42 Santos Drive, police said.

The suspect was taken into custody just before 4 a.m., police said.
