The Bureau of Transportation Statistics Wednesday said domestic airfares have actually declined in San Francisco by 6 percent, or about $25 per ticket.
Prices in Oakland and San Jose rose by a few dollars a seat, but not as much as the national average, which increased by about 4.5 percent.
