In Southern California on Wednesday, General Motors gave USPS the keys to a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle which emits only water.
The postal service will put it to the test delivering actual mail. Ultimately, they hope to convert most of the fleet, some 200,000 delivery trucks, to green models.
Already, the postal service leads the federal government in the number of alternative vehicles it uses.
