2-alarm fire burns Walnut Creek home

WALNUT CREEK, CA

The blaze, reported around 1:50 a.m., burned the house at 32 Horseshoe Court near the Sugarloaf Open Space Recreation Area, a fire dispatcher said.

Firefighters controlled the blaze around 3 a.m. Damage to the house was not immediately known.
