A woman was shot in the foot while she was on a dance floor in the banquet room of Tarragon restaurant, located at 140 S. Murphy Ave., at about 11:30 p.m., police reported.
A physical conflict between two males on the dance floor was broken up by restaurant staff and party attendees. About five minutes after the fight, a 19-year-old woman was stuck by a bullet. She was transported to a local hospital with a wound to her foot.
Police responded and secured the area. No suspects were arrested.
