All lanes clear on 880 after big rig overturns

All lanes of Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland were open by 8:30 a.m. today after a big rig overturned and left multiple lanes blocked for more than two hours, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The big rig overturned just south of Washington Street shortly after 6 a.m. and left northbound lane Nos. 1, 2 and 3 blocked, CHP Officer Marc Johnston said.

Big rigs were authorized to use Interstate Highway 580 until about 8:30 a.m., according to Johnston..

No injuries were reported..

A Sig-alert issued at about 6:30 a.m. was lifted around 8:30 a.m.
