In July, /*Reiser*/ was convicted of murdering his estranged wife Nina.
The 44-year-old Reiser already had his sentencing put off after striking a post-verdict deal to reduce his conviction by showing authorities where he buried Nina's body.
In return his charges were reduced to second degree murder.
Ironically, Reiser was offered a better deal before a jury found him guilty. In that deal his charges would have been reduced to manslaughter and he would have been eligible to be released in as little as a year.
On Friday, he faces the possibility of 15 years to life.
