Frankel said officers responded to reports of shots fired around 12:50 p.m. and found the victim a few doors down inside Johnson's House of Style barbershop at 2914 Sacramento St.
The victim was transported to Highland Hospital in Oakland. Frankel said police don't yet have a motive or anyone in custody. He did not know the victim's condition.
