Authorities are investigating the whereabouts today of a 61-year-old man with dementia who was last seen at a San Francisco Giants game Saturday night, a police spokesman said.

Marvin Cooper was reported missing after being separated from a family member at AT&T Park, according to San Francisco police Sgt. Wilfred Williams.

He may be trying to go to Redwood City, police said. Cooper, who walks with a limp, is described as a white man standing 5 feet 10 inches and weighing 180 pounds with light brown hair, blue eyes, and a gray beard and moustache. He wears glasses and was last seen in a white Giants T-shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department Missing Persons Division at (415) 558-5508 or (415) 553-1071.
