3.0 quake strikes in the North Bay

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 struck at about 5:40 a.m. this morning in Sonoma County.

According to the USGS, the earthquake had a depth of about 3.8 miles and was centered 2 miles northeast of Healdsburg and 6 miles north-northwest of Windsor.
