The two boys left Log Cabin Ranch in La Honda around 7:30 p.m., according to county officials. The ranch is run by the San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department and residents are not locked inside.
Residents in the area were alerted to keep a lookout for the teens and encouraged to call 911 if they were spotted.
