The Fremont Fire Department responded to a fire at 44836 Trout Court at 9 p.m. Monday to find one unit of the duplex fully ablaze, Battalion Chief Tom Mulvihill said.
The man was pulled from the fire and transported to Washington Hospital with minor burns on both hands, Mulvihill said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and the amount of damage made by the flames has not been determined.
