The victim, a juvenile from East Palo Alto, was walking on Whipple Avenue near Arguello Street around 11:45 p.m. when an unknown number of suspects approached him from behind and stabbed him multiple times, according to police.
The suspects fled the area and no arrests have been made.
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries that did not appear to be life threatening, according to police.
Police did not release a motive or suspect information.
