DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS Brings DINING BY DESIGN To San Francisco During The 2008 National Tour

DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS will continue the DINING BY DESIGN 2008 tour with two days of events at the Galleria at the San Francisco Design Center on Wednesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 20. DIFFA's DINING BY DESIGN will bring together some of the most talented and celebrated individuals in the worlds of fashion, interior design, art, and architecture to create spectacular, over-the-top dining environments. San Francisco, DINING BY DESIGN is a collaboration between DIFFA and the AIDS Research Institute at the University of California, San Francisco, to benefit the Positive Health Program at San Francisco General Hospital. Wednesday, November 19; 6 PM - 10 PM

DIFFA'S DINING BY DESIGN TABLE HOP & TASTE Preview Party

Designers and guests mingle, preview table creations, sip Beringer wines paired with delectables from the Bay Area's top restaurants and food purveyors, taste superb libations including cocktails by Stolichanaya ELIT. Open to the public with a $100 contribution per person to benefit DIFFA available online at diffasf.org.

Thursday, November 20; 6:30 PM - 11 PM

DIFFA'S DINING BY DESIGN GALA DINNER

Guests will enjoy a delightful dinner with cuisine by Taste Catering and an alluring silent auction amidst the breathtaking table environments. Tickets are available at $500 per person to benefit DIFFA (reservations required).

About Positive Health Program at San Francisco General Hospital:
Since 1983, the UCSF Positive Health Program (PHP) at San Francisco General Hospital--a core program of the AIDS Research Institute (ARI) at UCSF--has led the world in HIV/AIDS medicine. PHP provides state-of-the-art primary care to over 3,000 uninsured HIV patients. Services include clinical care, psychosocial support services and programs to support healthy living. PHP also conducts research on long-term survivors, newly infected patients and patients living with HIV and hepatitis.
