The report in the Contra Costa Times says 15-year-old Jazzmin Davis was five feet seven inches tall but weighed only 78 pounds when she died.
Police found her body on September 2nd at the home of her aunt and legal guardian, 38-year-old Shameeka Davis.
Davis has been accused of murder and long term abuse of the child. Abuse that investigators say included burning, beating, and locking the child in her room for days at a time without food.
Davis had pled not guilty to murder and abuse charges.
