Two men injured in EPA drive-by shooting

Authorities are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting that left two men injured in East Palo Alto today, police said.

Police went to the intersection of Bell Street and Cooley Avenue on reports of the shooting around 5:15 p.m.

Arriving officers found a 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both of East Palo Alto, suffering gunshot wounds, police said.

Both men were taken to a local hospital. The 19-year-old man is in critical condition and 21-year-old man is in stable condition, according to police.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and the motive remains under investigation.
