SAN FRANCISCO

The Good Housekeeping Research Institute put some gadgets to the test and these are a few that came out on top.

"One that performed extremely well was the Built New York Hoodie Camera Case," said Rachel Rothman, Good Housekeeping Institute.

It can hold as many as three different digital cameras. You can also attach the hoodie to your wrist or on your belt. And you can store your valuables in this handy wrist wallet by Sprigs Banjee Good Housekeeping tells us the wallet will do a good job of keeping your things dry.

And for those who don't like ear phones, you can still take your music with you with these "speaker-on the-go portable speakers" from HMDX.

Testers from Good Housekeeping ranked its sound quality high.

"This is a great present for someone who has a garden and is always struggling as to what type of plants to purchase because they're not sure of the sunlight in their garden. This product is called the sunstick. Just put the sticker on top, and this will change color based on what type of sunlight you have in that area of the garden," said Kathleen Huddy, Good Housekeeping Institute.

Researchers tested the SunStick in four different parts of a garden and found it to be pretty accurate.
