The crash happened around 4:55 p.m. on Hyde Street between North Point and Beach streets.
One passenger of the cable car and the driver of the vehicle
involved in the crash were taken to the hospital, True said. The extent of
their injuries was not immediately available.
Bus shuttles provided substitute service for the affected portion
of the cable car line after the crash, but regular service has since resumed.
