CHP will strictly enforce all laws

Eighty percent of all available CHP officers will focus on stopping speeders, drunk drivers, and people who don't wear seatbelts.

The CHP says too often they've arrested designated drivers who were drunk. So be sure that your driver is sober.

Officers also want to remind drivers the bad weather this weekend will require extra time and lower speeds.

The maximum enforcement runs through midnight on Sunday.
