VALLEJO, CA --
Police have identified 55-year-old Ronald Thomas as the man who was found dead in Lake Chabot in Vallejo around 9 a.m. Wednesday. Police said a fisherman found Thomas face down not far from a dock. There were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play, police said.
Police said Thomas was taken by officers to Sutter Solano Hospital in Vallejo on Tuesday because he was intoxicated, but he left the hospital around 9:30 p.m.
An autopsy was scheduled for today.
