Bay Area economy predicted to get worse

SAN FRANCISCO

The economists predict our local economy will mirror the rest of the nation with 2009 being a weak year.

The report projects 56,000 additional job cuts in the Bay Area during the year and zero percent growth in income.

The group expects the economy, both local and national, to begin to rebound some time in 2010.
