Church offering to recycle electronics

The Woodside Road United Methodist Church in Redwood City will hold an E-Waste recycling event Friday and Saturday for residents who want to get rid of old electronic equipment.

Computer monitors, television sets, printers, PC systems, laptops, copiers, scanners, fax machines, toner cartridges, networking equipment and mother board systems are among the electronic items accepted for recycling, according to event organizers. Non-working items are accepted as well.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days in the parking lot of the Woodside Road United Methodist Church at 2000 Woodside Road in Redwood City.
