An officer in the area of Fashion For You clothing at 1461 W. Texas St. was waved down around 5 p.m. by the store's owner, who said his business had been robbed at gunpoint.

The storeowner told police that two men carrying handguns had entered the store and ordered him to the back, where they tied him up with a phone cord.

The suspects then allegedly ransacked the store and took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money before the owner was able to free himself and wave down the police officer.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

Police searched the area for the suspects, described as black men around 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds, and wearing hooded jackets and dark clothing. They were not found.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Department at (707) 428-7300 or Solano County Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-STOP.

A reward of up to $1,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest.
