Narcotics bust nets weapons cache

Officers served a search warrant at 1140 Halyard Ave. and found $62,000 in cash, an SKS assault rifle, four handguns, a pistol-grip shotgun, a large supply of ammunition and approximately 20 pounds of processed marijuana with an estimated street value of $40,000, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

Officers also reported finding small quantities of methamphetamine, ecstasy pills, mushrooms and hashish.

The home was equipped to grow marijuana indoors and manufacture hashish, according to police.

Elton Chun Bong Sin, 30, was arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail on charges of marijuana cultivation and possession of marijuana, ecstasy and hashish for sale, according to police.
