Officers responded to a reported shooting at Stars Recreation Center at 155 Browns Valley Road at about 10:40 p.m. where 911 callers had told police a fight was breaking out, and that a shot was fired as the brawl escalated, according to the Vacaville Police Department.
Police found an 18-year-old man suffering a serious gunshot wound in the leg. He was hospitalized but was expected to live.
The suspect fled the area on foot, police said.
