The Parkway Speak-Easy Theater is about to close.

It's not your typical movie house; you can see second-run films and documentaries while sitting on couches and lounge chairs, for just $5.

Beer, wine and pizza were as common as popcorn here. Also, parents were welcome to bring infants, on Monday nights.

The Parkway Speak-Easy's last show is on Sunday, but its sister theater, The Cerrito in El Cerrito, will remain open.
