Golden Gate Park's bison are dying out

The bison herd at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park is dying out, only five remain.

One had to be put down last week because of old age.

Officials will soon have to decide whether to buy more and breed them with the remaining herd, or let the herd die off.

The first bison were brought to the park in 1891 where, at the time, bison were nearly extinct.
