2.6 quake strikes near West Marin

According to the USGS, the earthquake struck at 11 p.m. and had a depth of about 3 miles.

The epicenter was preliminarily reported by the USGS to be about 6 miles north of Point Reyes and about 9 miles west of the coastal community of Inverness.
