The warning comes after a man climbed through an open kitchen window at a home on Hearst Avenue and San Pablo Avenue on Wednesday.

Police said a woman woke up and found the man standing over her. They said he demanded that she perform a sexual act.

She screamed and the attacker ran out the door.

Berkeley Police are investigating a possible connection to three similar sexual assaults in the same neighborhood last year.
