The San Mateo County Coroner's office says 16-year-old John Pagobo died of internal injuries Monday, after he was thrown off his skateboard the day before.
Police say the teen was thrown about 15 feet when he hit a curb while riding down the hill Sunday afternoon.
He was not wearing a helmet.
