ABC7 learned authorities arrested Huaichang Zhao in Monterey Park in Southern California on Tuesday.
Zhao is accused of attacking a Cupertino couple in their home on Berry Court in April.
He is facing murder and attempted murder charges. Wei Lei died in the attack and her husband was seriously injured.
