Voters in Hayward will decide to put a 5.5 percent tax on utilities including gas and electricity. The money would be used to prevent cuts to city services, like fire and paramedics.

In Contra Costa County, voters will decide on a $99 parcel tax measure to help the Mount Diablo Unified School District.

Voters in Pacifica will decide on a one-cent sales tax increase that would go toward public services.
