That beach is followed by Cabrillo Beach in Los Angeles County and Pismo Beach Pier in San Luis Obispo County. Campbell Cove State Park Beach in Sonoma County was number nine.
However, the report says some 91 percent of Bay Area beaches received "A" grades for the summer, slightly above the state average.
