The Global Language Monitor has set up a countdown clock on its Web site.

Before a word makes the list it has to be published at least 25,000 times.

Words like "octomom" and "sexting" are entering our lexicon every 90 minutes or so.

The organization says the millionth word will join the language on June 10 at 3:22 a.m.
