Firefighters are investigating a fire that injured three and damaged a home in San Jose Tuesday morning, a dispatcher with the San Jose Fire Department said.

A fire was reported just after midnight at a home at 1068 Big Sur Drive, the dispatcher said. Firefighters declared the blaze under control at around 1:15 a.m.

Two residents were transported to a hospital with smoke inhalation injuries, fire officials said, and one was treated at the scene for a burned foot. The two hospitalized victims have since been released.

The cause of the fire is sunder investigation, the dispatcher said.
